White Shoal Light Near Traverse City Sent Messages In Bottles For Stays At The Lighthouse
Michigan has many famous lighthouses throughout the lower and upper peninsula and one of the lighthouses that is currently being restored is the White Shoal Light which is located 20 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge in Lake Michigan.
The White Shoal Light Historical Preservation Society located at 4066 Coors Dr. in Traverse City has offered a really unique opportunity for Michiganders to find a message in a bottle that will lead to a very special stay at the lighthouse. They announced this project in early September.

Today we are launching 4 bottles containing messages from the crib of White Shoal Light. The messages have been written by Luke, Alivia, Layla, and Julie, descendants of Keeper George Keller. Besides the written messages, each bottle will contain a prize to be claimed by the finder of the bottle. There is no expiration date for redeeming these prizes.

Bottle marked as #4 with a message from Julie - the prize to be claimed is a 3-night overnight stay for a max of 5 people to occupy both of their queen bedrooms and the twin bedroom.
