10 Fourth of July Activities in Michigan That Don’t Involve Fireworks
Let's face it, times are expensive, and we're all looking for ways we can tighten the belt a bit, and save a little cash for our everyday bills above everything else. This year, for Independence Day, that might include spending less, if NOTHING at all on Fireworks.
But that's OK, because you can still have a pretty awesome, All-American 4th of July without spending any money on things that will literally blow up in your face.
I have family that tells me every year I might as well light my money on fire if I"m going to keep spending it on fireworks for the 4th of July, and this year, that couldn't be anymore true.
I would much rather spend my money on something that's more tangible, and maybe even spend NO money at all, doing something that will still have a memorable outcome. Not to mention, I'm a dog person, and the less amount of stress I can put on dogs in my neighborhood, the better.
So, I put together some ideas for us Michiganders that still sound like a lot of fun, and couldn't be more All-American to celebrate this Independence Day, that doesn't involve literally blowing my money up at the end of the day.
