Remember when Michigan's state slogan was Water-Winter Wonderland? It's easy to see why with breathtaking ice formations on Lake Michigan , frozen lighhouses and rivers, and phenomenons like bombogenesis. The latest Winter beauty nature has revealed? Ice crystals.

No, these aren't some new age crystals that will align your chakras, but frozen deposits left on the lake shore by the violent action of waves. Jon Kreski shared his photo of this wonder with the Facebook group Great Lakes Nerds and captioned it:
