Make this Halloween memorable as Kalamazoo authors/ghost hunters Nicole Bray and Robert DuShane will share stories about our city that you may wish you had ever heard.

Kalamazoo's violent and often anguished history has given way to myriad ghostly tales surrounding some of the town's most prominent places. From the tortured souls roaming the Asylum Lake Preserve to the infamous suicide of the amateur actress Thelma, who reputedly haunts the Civic Auditorium to this day, it is no small wonder that the town is filled with apparitions longing to make their stories and their presence known.

Kazoo Books will host ghost hunters Nicole Bray and Robert DuShane this Halloween afternoon at Kazoo Books II, 2413 Parkview. The Haunted History of Kalamazoo authors will be on hand to offer dark tales from Kalamzoo's ghastly past. They'll also be handing free books to lucky trick-or-treaters, forgoing candy corn, caramel apples or other suspect treats.

This afternoon party will also function as a meet and greet with the authors. Refreshements will be served. This is an all ages event.
