Have you heard this one before? A horse showed up at a Sunoco gas station in Newberry, Michigan.

Newberry is a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, about 20 miles Southwest of Tahquamenon Falls. Nothing ever happens here. Until it does.

I contacted Miranda via Facebook to get more on the story. I asked if she knew if "Sausage" was a mare or a stallion (OK, I said "him or her" horse) and what she was doing at the gas station early in the morning.

Within a couple of hours, the horses owner was located and Fred was put out to pasture; that's a happy ending for this story.
