Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is offering free admission this week in the wake of the Kalamazoo shootings.

Many believe in the healing power of the arts.

Variety of form and brilliancy of color in the object presented to patients are an actual means of recovery.

Kalamazoo Institute of Arts (KIA) is offering free admission all this week to accelerate the restoration process.  KIA is located at 435 W. South St. with entrances on South and Lovell Streets. Hours are 11-5 Tuesday and Wednesday, 11-8 Thursday and Friday, 11-5 on Saturday and Noon-5 on Sunday. Admission is free this week through Sunday, February 28.
