This Unicycle-Riding Michigan Fish Thief Story is a Whopper
One-wheel getaway unsuccessful as Michigan DNR apprehends Battle Creek fish thief riding a unicycle.
They say a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle but if you teach a man how to fish, he will not eat for a lifetime but turn to a life of crime. MLive reports Michigan Department of Natural Resources captured a Battle Creek man riding a unicycle with stolen bass he intended to sell.
According to the tip, the suspect had a stringer full of bass and would most likely be riding a unicycle.
A net was cast and the suspect was reeled in, presumably strung up and prosecuted. Commenter mth0ma5 wonders "would he be termed a fish peddler or a fish pedaler?" and speculates "I'm sure this is just a cycle he's going through."
No word on how long the crook on the hook has to sit in the cooler but he may just make up a fish tale to tell his friends about why he got arrested.
