Michigan celebrates everything, even mud. The annual event, held in Wayne County is no Tough Mudder and is a blast for those kids who just want to get dirty. 

The 27th annual Mud Day event is held at Nankin Mills Park, just East of Ann Arbor Trail in Westland, Michigan. Open to kids 12 and under and there is no preregistration or fee to take part. There will even be games like mud limbo and mud wheel barrow races. A King and Queen will be crowned at the end of the fun which runs from 11am to 1pm on July 11th.
