Responding to reports of a carjacking, Detroit police responded to apparent threat with guns drawn.

Life imitates art? Fox 2 Detroit reports filmmakers were depicting a carjacking in a music video but it was so realistic, it generated 9-1-1 calls for help.

The crew had no permits and were operating on a city street- not a closed set, so police had no knowledge that this was for entertainment and responded with weapons at the ready. Three shots were fired when one of the actors pointed a prop gun at an officer. Luckily no one was hurt in the incident.
