Any one who grew up or spent any amount of time living in Michigan knows you can make a simple map of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan with your hand. But did you know that you can also make a map of Detroit's street grid system with your hand as well?

Credit for this find goes to Detroitography which showed a hand map of Detroit with your palm representing Campus Martius, the downtown park from which Detroit's radial street grid originates. Starting from your palm, your fingers represent the main streets of, starting with your thumb and going clockwise around your fingers: Jefferson, Gratiot, Woodward, Grand River, Michigan, and if you had a 6th finger, Fort.
