Dave & Buster's currently has 81 locations in 30 states and Ontario, Canada. Two More are opening soon and the Texas-based food and entertainment company is considering adding another Michigan franchise.

What is Dave & Buster's? It's like a Chuckie Cheese for grownups.

Bring the kids; they will love the huge gaming area with everything from skee-ball to the latest video games. You'll go for it because you don't have to drink cheap beer from a paper cup (they have a 12-page drink menu) or worry about missing the big game- I counted 9 screens, and that was just above the bar! The food is delicious and there are many, many choices and an extensive menu for those with food allergies.

Currently, Dave & Buster's has locations in Utica and Livonia, Michigan and their Grand Rapids place opened at 3660 28th Street NE in Kentwood in May of 2015.

Who is next? Lansing.

The Lansing State Journal reports that the company is looking at real estate in the capital city and talks are underway.

Not Kalamazoo, Lansing.

Why was Kalamazoo left out of expansion plans? We love to play in this town and, God knows, we love to drink.

While we wait for Dave & Buster's to come to their senses and come to Kalamazoo, we'll just have to spend our quarters over in Gobles at Klassic Arcade.
