Buddy Check 22 is a Facebook event created to curtail the 22 suicides committed by veterans each day.

While it has been argued that the actual number is lower, don't let mathematics and statistics get in the way of care and compassion.

Call a veteran that you know and thank them for their service. Ask them how they are doing. It only takes a couple of minutes. That may be enough to save a life.
