Trailer Choir member “Bigg Vinny” Hickerson and his wife, Jenny, have revealed that they are expecting their first child.

The Hickersons shared the news exclusively with the Boot on Wednesday (Feb. 15), and they even wrote a sweet song titled "Bun in the Oven" as an ode to their pending family addition, which you can check out in the clip above.

“I’m so excited to be having a baby. I’m only 33, and she’s 35, but we were wondering if we’d be able to even have kids,” Hickerson tells the Boot. “She’s done body-building and is in super-good shape, [but] doctors told her it would be hard for her to get pregnant, so we didn’t know.”

The couple wed in November of 2016, and they had no timeline for starting a family.

“We decided we weren’t going to try or get on a schedule or figure out how to have kids. When we got married, we immediately knew that we at least wanted to have kids, but we didn’t want to necessarily put the pressure on it, so we said, ‘If it happens, it happens,'” Hickerson says.

“Sure enough, it was exactly one month to the day after we got married that the baby was conceived," he adds, laughing. "I guess the doctors weren’t quite as accurate as they thought they were!”

Hickerson took part in The Biggest Loser in 2011, and in addition to his music career with Trailer Choir, he now works as a motivational speaker. He doesn't see that slowing down once he and his wife welcome their little one.

“The good thing is, I have a wife that understands, because she was an artist as well, and she’s toured and played and done a lot of great things. She supports me completely in that,” Hickerson explains, adding that while he spends chunks of time on the road away from home, he also gets extended periods of quality time at home where he does not have a set schedule.

“This is a learning experience for us,” he says. “We haven’t obviously been here yet, so I’m sure I’ll learn as I go, and get to experience it and learn.”

The Hickersons' child is due on Sept. 6. The couple do not yet know if they're expecting a boy or a girl.
