Resturants, Guitar manufacturers, and now grocery stores are shutting down in Southwest Michigan.

Mlive.com has reported that Hardings Market in Otsego is closing their doors. The grocery store has been a fixture of the community for almost 70 years and has yet to give a reason for shutting their doors.

Dan Hill, president of Harding and Hill Inc., stated in a Feb. 19 press release...

"Recently, we made the difficult decision to close our Harding's Market Otsego location, which has proudly served the community and been a part of our family for nearly 70 years. While it is never an easy decision to close a store, this outcome is particularly painful for us, and we thank the community for their loyal patronage over the years."

In the press release, Dan Hill said the business would strive to find positions for as many associates as possible at its other Harding's locations. There is no word on which locations the employees may be placed at.

So sad to see another great business gone!
