Sam Hunt and Reba McEntire are among the newest additions to the lineup of performers for the 2017 ACM Awards. The Academy of Country Music announced the awards show's newly added performers in a press release on Wednesday afternoon (March 22).

In addition to Hunt and McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Christian singer Lauren Daigle will be taking the stage at the 2017 ACM Awards in early April. Previously announced performers include Tim McGraw and Faith HillKelsea BalleriniBrothers Osborne, Maren MorrisJon PardiJason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town and Florida Georgia Line with the Backstreet Boys.

Of the newly announced 2017 ACM Awards performers, Rascal Flatts, Rhett, Stapleton, Underwood and Urban are nominated for ACMs this year. Urban, in fact, received the most 2017 ACM Awards nods of any act: He's up for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (and the artist and as a producer) and Single Record of the Year (and the artist and as a producer), and his song "Blue Ain't Your Color" is also nominated for Song of the Year.

Stapleton, meanwhile, is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year and Song of the Year; Underwood, will be competing for Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year; and Rhett is up for Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year. Finally, the Flatts are nominated for Vocal Group of the Year.

The 2017 ACM Awards are set to take place in Las Vegas, Nev., on April 2, and air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. For the first time ever, the show will take place at T-Mobile Arena; Bentley and Bryan will return as co-hosts.
