Over 3,000 dancers are need to break the record, which is currently held by Pella, Iowa.

Pella, Iowa?

I grew up in Holland where Tulip Time is a BIG deal. I marched in every parade I can remember from the times I carried the banner for my sister's baton twirling group (The Sailorettes) through middle and high school band.

No way this record belongs in Iowa.

They make windows in Pella. In Holland we make, well...office furniture and pickles, but that's not important.

So, I'll be suiting up in my old costume from 1984(?) and joining those attempting to restore the record to the Tulip City where it belongs.

Like they say in my hometown "If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much."

Wooden shoe want to be in the Guinness Book?
