Now you will be able to get butter pecan with your buttered popcorn as Battle Creek's gourmet popcorn shop is adding ice cream, malts, shakes and sundaes. Wirtz Family Popcorn will reopen on May 20 as Wirtz Family Popcorn and Ice Cream.

Here are 4 unique, scrumptious menu items to try:

1. Upgrade your waffle cone: Try a chocolate chip cookie cone, M&M cookie cone, salter pretzel, or make it gluten-free.
2. Capture an elusive unicorn: Not to be outdone by Starbucks, Wirtz has a unicorn milkshake made with Superman ice cream.
3. Swap your root beer float for a Blue Dew: 2 scoops of blue moon ice cream drowned in Mountain Dew.
4. Ice Cream Nachos: Not as bad as it sounds.
