Up to now, we've exclusively featured dogs in our Wet Nose Wednesday video series. The SPCA of Southwest Michigan has many cats available for adoption too.

Most of these animals come from hoarding situations where people collect more cats than they can realistically care for. In Kalamazoo County there is no specific number that is "too many" cats but as you might guess it is easy to tell when the animals aren't being cared for.

Susan came from the Kent County Animal Shelter and is a sweet cat who loves to cuddle and I can tell you she has a very soothing purr. Contact the SPCA of Southwest Michigan to visit Susan and meet many of the other cats and dogs looking for forever homes.

Need a scratching post or catnip? Consider shopping at Wet Nose Wednesday sponsor Mattawan Pet Supply.
