An extraordinary find, this rare tome found at Kalamazoo Public Library could sell for more than $1,000.

Laura Ingalls-Wilder is beloved for "Little House on the Prairie," and now, Friends of Kalamazoo Public Library may have a thousand more reasons to love her. In addition to the series of novels about her childhood in the American West, Ingalls-Wilder also wrote her autobiography and several other stories. A rare, first edition copy of one of her works has turned up at Kalamazoo Public Library.

Friends of Kalamazoo Public Library run the bookstore in the basement of the library. This is a great place to find exceptional values on books the library perhaps has duplicates of, no longer needs or have been donated. Now, an exceptional find may finance their further endeavors.
