NASA Has a map that shows the exact path of the moon between the earth and the sun and what percent of the sun will be obscured by the moon.  Here in Michigan, they say the sun will be between 80 to 90 percent obscured. With the course projected by NASA, the best spot in Michigan to view the eclipse would be New Buffalo, the farthest Southwest city in Michigan.
