Your first chance to see the Red Wings in action at the new Little Caesars Arena will be on September 23rd.

The playoff streak ended this season but that hasn't affected the love for the sport in the Motor City.

In the last 20 years, the Detroit Red Wings have had some legendary teams.   One of those teams, the 2002 cup champions were voted as one of the best in an NHL poll.

If you are a fan of hockey memorabilia this event is for you as the Detroit Red Wings will hold their annual equipment sale this weekend.

Imagine you're doing your normal commute through downtown Detroit and you pass...the Zamboni that should be inside the Red Wings Arena. The Zamboni was on the streets of Detroit recently.

There have been many legendary moments for the Detroit Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena.  The team recently announced the "Joe Moment" bracket challenge.

One of the highlights of the recent Centennial Classic between the Red Wings and the Maple Leafs was the announcement of 33 of 100 Greatest Players in The NHL.  The Detroit Red Wings were well represented on this list.

Today it was announced that The Detroit Pistons will move along with the Detroit Red Wings into the new Little Caesars Arena in Downtown Detroit next year.  It is not the first time the two sports teams have shared an arena.

We are about a year away from the opening of the new Little Caesars Arena in Downtown Detroit.   That is the name for the new arena ,which so far doesn't have a nickname.  A Father and Son hope to change that.

Dylan Larkin had a break out rookie season last year for the Detroit Red Wings.  So far he has yet to score a goal in this young season.   He did however get into his first fight this past weekend.
