When you walk into a Burger King the first things you encounter are the aromas, then the bright lite menu board and then you go ahead with your order. The last thing you expect to see when you first walk in is a pornographic movie scene, and that's exactly what happened to a Southfield, Michigan resident on Sunday.

Richard Avery and his two sons visited the Burger King on Eureka Rd. at around 2:30 on Sunday and when they walked in, Avery told WXYZ that's when they saw the video:

My oldest son said to my youngest son, don't look at the TV, that's when I looked at the TV and I had seen this sex scene.

Once Avery and other costumers became aware of the situation, Burger King employees were slow to turn it off and it was Avery who made the decision to go and turn off the TV. A spokesperson for Burger King released a statement on the incident saying:

We value and encourage a culture of care and respect for all guests. This behavior does not reflect our brand values or the values of the franchisee who independently owns and operates this restaurant. The franchisee is investigating this incident thoroughly.

Avery also filed a police report with the Southgate Police department.
