School Buses Race in Daring Figure-8 at Galesburg

Survival, not winning may be the goal as school buses race on a dangerous figure-8 track at Galesburg.

To begin with, eight school buses barely fit on the quarter mile track at Galesburg Speedway Adding a twist makes it all the more exciting as drivers do not race in the traditional oval but cross each others path as they drive through the infield in a figure-8 pattern. As you can see in the video, it doesn't take long before the first bus catches up with the last one at the center. It doesn't matter if you like racing or not- this is thrilling!
