Reason #428 Hockey Rules

After Wednesday's shootings in Ottawa, "O Canada" was sung to honor our northern neighbors.

What' this all aboot?  Living in Michigan, so close to Canada, it is not entirely uncommon to have heard the Canadian national anthem sung before a hockey game when the opponent is from the Great White North.

Four hundred seven miles from the Canadian capital, in Pittsburgh, the Penguins and Flyers- two American teams, honored their comrades in the NHL with a stirring version of "O Canada."
