The inaugural Pumpkin Patch Pursuit 5k Run is a unique race you will want to be a part of for (at least) these three reasons:

  • 1

    The Course

This is much more than just a trail run. The 3.1 mile course rambles through the pumpkin patch at Harvest Moon Acres before venturing into the corn maze. Runners and walkers will head through the woods and also traverse sections of the Kal-Haven Trail paved with pebbles. The varied surfaces will keep the competitors on their toes.

  • 2

    The Cause

Many important groups and organizations in and around Kalamazoo do important work. Parent 2 Parent of Southwest Michigan offers support for parents and families of children with special needs. A rare peer-to-peer approach ensures that when someone says "I know what you are going through," they know what that person is going through.

    The After-Party

Fall in Michigan is a beautiful time of the year and offers many fun activities. After the race, families can pick out a pumpkin, navigate the corn maze, roll along on a hayride and see the animals at the petting zoo at Harvest Moon Acres. (Additional charges may apply for some activities.)
