On average, the winter of 2017 has been one of the warmest winters in West Michigan history.  Will the trend continue?

We had a very average December.  However, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek have seen temps in the 60's in January and near 70 in February.  Average temps in 2017 are 6-12 degrees warmer than our 30 year average.

I found monthly average temps for Kalamazoo and Battle Creek for the Months of December, January and February over the last 30 years at weatherbase.com.  The average monthly temps for this winter came from WUnderground.com.
