MSU Bash Coming to Battle Creek May 25th

MSU Co-offensive coordinator Dave Warner, the Spartan Network's Will Tieman, and of course, "Sparty" will be on hand May 25 for the annual "Spring Fling" in Battle Creek.

MSU Alumni and friends are invited to join the fun and raise money for the local scholarship fune.

• Who: The Calhoun County MSU Spartans
• What: Annual Spring Fling
• When: Wednesday, May 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
• Where: Gallagher Uniform at 151 McQuiston Drive, Battle Creek
• Why: To support three scholarships that are available to Calhoun County residents.

Will Tieman, voice of the Spartan Sports Network and MSU men’s basketball play by play announcer, will be the master of ceremony for the event.    Past attendees include these local Spartan greats Drew Neitzel, Larry Caper Jr., and others.  This year come on out and get a chance to meet Marshall High School grad and former MSU quarterback Ryan Van Dyke and other local Spartans.  In addition, the World's most recognizable mascot, Sparty, will be on hand for young and old alike to meet and get their picture taken from 6–7 p.m.

Cost for attending the event will be $25/person and includes a variety of food from locally-owned restaurants and complimentary beverages provided by Gallagher Uniform.  Go to EventBrite.com, Calhoun County Spartans Spring Fling to register or just come the day the of event.  There will be some excellent MSU items available at both the live and silent auction again this year plus some great raffle prizes.
