The holiday season is still a few weeks away, but Luke Bryan is helping fans get into the Christmas spirit with his newly released rendition of "O Holy Night." Readers can press play above to hear Bryan's version of the holiday classic.

"O Holy Night" is the definition of a challenging song to sing, but Bryan deftly handles the classic Christmas carol's highest notes. Released on Nov. 9, the song has already racked up more than 150,000 views, a number that will definitely grow dramatically as the Christmas season really kicks off in earnest once Thanksgiving is over.

Bryan's take on "O Holy Night" is his second foray into recording beloved holiday songs: In 2008, Bryan covered "Run Run Rudolph" as part of the collaborative Country for Christmas album. Ahead of the release of his version of "O Holy Night," Bryan told fans that he "thought it was about time for another Christmas tune."

Bryan and his family have a unique Christmas Eve tradition: chili dogs for dinner.

"[It] kind of presents a whole other set of problems," Bryan jokes. "Glade air freshener in the stockings. Let's just say the tree is dead by Christmas."

Bryan is currently taking a break from touring after spending much of 2017 out on the road on his Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day Tour. He'll head back out in January for his four-night Crash My Playa festival in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
