3,000 scholars from all over the US have gathered to get Medieval on the Western Michigan University Campus.

Right now at the very top of the trending bar for Detroit you'll find #Kzoo2018.  That's because the International Congress on Medieval Studies is underway at WMU.  According to WMich.edu,

The congress features more than 550 sessions of papers, panel discussions, roundtables, workshops and performances. There are also some 100 business meetings and receptions sponsored by learned societies, associations and institutions. The exhibits hall boasts nearly 70 exhibitors, including publishers, used book dealers and purveyors of medieval sundries. The congress lasts three and a half days, extending from Thursday morning, with sessions beginning at 10 a.m., until Sunday at noon.

The tweets are coming in hot and heavy under the hashtag #Kzoo2018.

I would like to end this story with a hilarious Medieval joke but all of the ones I know are inappropriate. #ImNoJester
