Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman looked at home on the 2017 ACM Awards red carpet on Sunday night (April 2). The two posed for the cameras and doted on each other during arrivals for the annual awards ceremony, which took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Urban was nominated seven times at the 2017 ACM Awards, including for Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Although he did not end up winning any trophies on Sunday night, Urban still spent time on the ACMs stage: He performed during an opening medley, featuring the year's Entertainer of the Year nominees, and later in the show, Urban and Carrie Underwood performed his single "Blue Ain't Your Color" and their duet "The Fighter."

Urban drew on his relationship with Kidman to write the lyrics of “The Fighter.”

“I literally thought about Nic and I and our relationship in the beginning,” Urban explains, “and some of the things we had said all went into that song.
