KZoo State Theatre Among the Best in the Country

PollStar ranks the venerable theatre on its Top 200 list.

Since it opened in 1927, Kalamazoo State Theatre has sold tickets to musicals and movies, big bands and ballets, concerts and comedies, tragedies and all manner of traveling shows.

In 2014, the venue sold 24,982 tickets to various stage shows, ranking it just inside the Top 200.

Topping PollStar's list was Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California. Chicago's Aragon Ballroom was ranked 2nd with only 5 other Michigan venues making the list.
