It's a chance for grown-ups to hunt for the Easter bunny in downtown Kalamazoo bars and restaurants; the Great Kalamazoo Bunny Hunt goes down Saturday, March 19. Who knows, you might even have a chance to be the bunny!

Here's the idea: you pay $10 to be a part of the event ($15 day of registration) and then show up at the designated watering hole downtown. All the names are tossed in the Easter basket and the one drawn becomes the rabbit.

That player then goes on the lam as the "Easter bunny" and is given $200 cash to make their way through downtown Kalamazoo establishments, eating and drinking along the way. The remaining players are divided into teams of 3 and try to scare up the hare. The first to capture (touch) the "furry" fugitive gets whatever cash is left. Boundaries will be set and teams must operate only on foot but here's the catch: you must have one drink at every pub, bistro or lounge that you enter on your search.
