Pardi, a California-based country artist, has opened up for Alan Jackson and Dierks Bentley; his 2016 album California Sunrise deubted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and scored two back-to-back No. 1 hits with "Head Over Boots" and "Dirt on My Boots."

Pardi thanked all his hometown supporters, including those who supported him when he was "playing backyards and little hometown bars and fairs when I was still in high school."

The 2017 CMA Awards were aired live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena Nov. 8.
