The Lillian Anderson Arboretum is a beautiful 140 acre piece of property that is located off of West Main in Oshtemo Township. With a slew of different terrains to walk through and groomed trails to travel, you have to add this to your list of amazing places to explore in any weather. Kalamazoo has no shortage of coffee shops, but can you name where this shot was taken before we tell you? Black Owl Coffee Shop off of Wallbridge is tucked away on a side street and has the vibe to let you kill some classwork or devour a book, whatever strikes your fancy. Our city has a big heart for a smaller city and it does well to create the culture to go with it. We love a good time and occasional party, but Kalamazoo also offer’s its inhabitants great places to invest in a healthy lifestyle. Down to the cleaning products they use in the space, Suzanne’s Organics believes that your hair and beauty products need to do more than make you look good, they need to make you feel good. Plus, they do a killer job and have an addictive downtown vibe that you’d expect to find somewhere like downtown Chicago! Check out this hair transformation photo from their Instagram.
