How Do They Make Those Masks Anyway?

These Kalamazoo creations have been to Hollywood and around the world.

Antony Gerard, owner of Timid Rabbit Magic and Masquerade Shop in Kalamazoo, is incredibly talented.  He's also passionate about his work, as anyone who has been in the store at 2011 West Main can attest.

We spent about an hour together recently, talking about everything from the impact of 9-11 on Halloween, to Iowa heavy metal bands and diversifying your portfolio.

On point, many famous masks and props have come out of the Timid Rabbit.  The television show Extra interviewed Tony for his O.J. Simpson mask and his Saddam Hussein made an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman.  He has done projects for the Big Bang Theory, The Young and the Restless and many more.
