Gin Blossoms Sing Country Song, At Taste & Brew of Kalamazoo This Weekend

Did you know that the Gin Blossoms did a country song?

Taste & Brew of Kalamazoo is Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place, downtown Kalamazoo.

Many bands featuring many different styles will play throughout the festivities. From Motown, Stax, soul and classic R&B favorites to hip-hop and hardcore funk; you'll also hear country, reggae and a tribute band keeping 80s, 90s and 2000s-era alternative music alive.

The Gin Blossoms will headline Saturday night, with their set scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Best known for "Hey Jealousy," the Gin Blossoms also charted 6 other songs but did you know they did a country song?

They are from Tempe, Arizona, so I'd bet they've got it in 'em, but I can't help but think guitarist Jesse Valenzuela has his tongue planted firmly in his cheek when he steps up to the mic to sing this one:
