  • *An invitation to attend the opening preview & reception for Common Ground: African American Art from the Flint Institute of Art, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, and the Muskegon Museum of Art.
  • *5:30 to 8 p.m. Exhibition Preview, Music, Refreshments

  • *6:30 p.m. Curator's Talk by Tracee Glab, Curator of Collections, Flint Institute of Arts

 

The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is a nonprofit art museum and school. Since 1924, the institute has offered art classes, exhibitions, lectures, events, activities and a permanent collection. The KIA's mission is to cultivate the creation and appreciation of the visual arts in West Michigan.
