One of the coolest features to ever be set up at the Detroit Zoo is finally coming back and I couldn't be more excited. Last week the Detroit Zoo announced the return of "Dinosauria," an interactive dinosaur walk through which they describe as having "forty lifelike animatronic dinosaurs that snarl and move – and some that spit – providing a mega-dose of Vitamin Z for guests of all ages. Dinosauria is the largest dinosaur exhibit of its kind in the country."

The 5-acre "DinoTrail" recreates early prehistoric life as well as features a real life dino dig after the path ends. Luckily for us, this event opens on May 25 and goes all the way til September 3. You can get all the info on Dinosauria on their event page and purchase tickets to the Detroit Zoo on their website as well. Those with season passes to the Binder Park Zoo get a 50% discount on tickets to the Detroit Zoo which opens at 9:30 A.M. Tickets to Dinosauria are $6 with Zoo admission for visitors ages 2 and older.  Here are some photos I captured the last time Dinosauria was at the Detroit Zoo. Enjoy!
