The 11th year of The Cinderella Project of Kalamazoo was a success as 169 girls from all over Southwest Michigan gathered at Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan and selected prom dresses from over 2,500 gowns gathered for the occasion by Memories Bridal & Evening Wear.

Hours of preparation went into the event, creating makeshift dressing rooms for the girls to try on their attire. A seamstress was on hand to sew straps and each girl had a fashion consultant to help pick out shoes and accessories to complete the ensemble.

Believing "every girl deserves to be a princess," Adrienne Wissner has spearheaded the Cinderella Project in Kalamazoo and this year Kalamazoo's Country 102.5 brought in Morrison Jewelers and Blush Salon & Spa to award a very special prom package.

Thanks to all who donated dresses and we look forward to making dreams come true again in 2018. Meanwhile take a look at photos from the Cinderella Project of Kalamazoo.
