Add some holiday cheer when you bring your own beer and take a trolley ride around Grand Rapids to see the joyous Christmas light displays.

Don't try this on your own- in fact, you could get arrested for open container or driving under the influence; rather climb aboard the Grand Rapids Beer Trolly and you can drink while they drive. The trip through the festive light displays will get you in the Christmas spirit while you enjoy your favorite spirits (of the adult variety).

Deck the halls and fill your glass as you circle Fifth Third Ballpark's 2+ mile odyssey with more than a million lights! A beer stop at a brewing company (don't forget one for the road) is followed by a tour through local neighborhoods to revel in the elaborate vistas the amateurs set up on their lawns.

Pace yourself and make sure you can still keep your balance as ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle is the next stop followed by a look at the beautiful bridges and buildings decked out for the holidays in downtown Grand Rapids.

There is no age limit for rides but if you're going to drink, you've got to prove you are 21+. Tickets are $50 and trolley rides happen Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and many are selling out- see the website for all the info.

The Grand Rapids Beer Trolley is a unique and festive way to get lit and see the multi-colored lights of Christmas- not the red & blue lights in your mirror.
