It sure is good to be Blake Shelton. The singer’s latest album, Texoma Shore, lands at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week, marking his eighth consecutive year on the chart.

“I can’t believe that 17 years into making records and my fans are still so supportive,” Shelton says. “I mean a No. 1 album? When I think it can’t get any better, it does — thanks to them. I love you all!”

According to a press release, Shelton has scored at least one album on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart for eight consecutive years, including If I’m Honest (No. 3, 2016), Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits (No. 5, 2015), Bringing Back the Sunshine (No. 1, 2014), Based on a True Story (No. 3, 2013), Cheers, It’s Christmas (No. 8, 2012), Red River Blue (No. 1, 2011) Loaded: The Best of Blake Shelton (No. 11 in 2011), All About Tonight (No. 6, 2010) and Hillbilly Bone (No. 3, 2010).

In support of his new album, the superstar recently announced his 2018 Country Music Freaks Tour. He’ll be taking along Trace AdkinsBrett Eldredge and Carly Pearce. In an interview with People, the country singer and The Voice coach confesses that the one hit he’d be more than happy to never sing again is his 2009 collaboration with Adkins, “Hillbilly Bone.”

“I’m gonna say ‘Hillbilly Bone’ because it’s uncomfortable sometimes with kids at the concert,” Shelton says. “You’re singing and you’re looking at a kid and you start talking about ‘Hillbilly Bone’ … it’s uncomfortable.”

Shelton will likely be singing the song nightly now that Adkins is a part of his tour. The 14-date tour kicks off Feb. 15, 2018 in Tulsa, Okla., and wraps up March 17 in Philadelphia.
