"Once" is the celebrated musical based on the Academy Award-winning film of the same name. It tells the story of an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, their unexpected friendship and collaboration evolves into a powerful but complicated romance, heightened by the raw emotion of the songs they create together.

Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová won the Academy Award for their music and lyrics that tell the heartbreaking tale. An award-winning team of visionary artists bring the story to the stage and an ensemble cast of gifted actor/musicians will perform for two shows only at Miller Auditorium, January 25 and 26.

For tickets, visit the Miller Auditorium ticket office at 2200 Auditorium Drive, Kalamazoo, call (269) 387-2300 or visit www.millerauditorium.com.

"Once" is a musical celebration of life and love: thrilling in its originality, daring in its honesty... and unforgettable in every way.
