An Evening On The Town And Big Smo

Big Smo released his new album "We The People"  on July 22nd and this was the first concert after it was in the hands of his fans. I was given the opportunity to be at the show, give away some VIP passes to Ribfest and even introduce the band, this is my story.

Saturday was the big night for me, first real public appearance for Kalamazoo Country at District Square for the Big Smo concert. District Square wasn't far away and is in downtown so, having a couple hours to kill, I started walking through the Kalamazoo Mall and talking to people. check out these photos of my night.

I also found a couple who's granddaughter had just gotten married and were heading to the reception but couldn't find the restaurant. I offered to be their "Uber Walker" and escorted them the three blocks to where they needed to go. they offered me some money but I told them the only payment I needed was knowing they made it there safe.
