Celebrating the 50th state!

I have some friends who throw great parties.

The 4th of July is a great occasion to fire up the grill and rejoice in this great nation. This year, the 5th of July became a fête for the 50th state: Hawaii.

A pig was roasted, the tiki bar was opened and the kids did their best to hang 10 on Leech Lake. For one afternoon a suburban neighborhood in Holland, Michigan, felt like the Big Island.
